The protection of personal data is of great importance to us. Personal data is provided voluntarily. The Company processes such data in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation, the German Telemedia Act [Telemediengesetz, TMG] and German data protection laws.

Hereafter, we will describe which data will be processed during your visit to our Company’s website.

2. Personal Data

Personal data is individual information about the personal or material circumstances of a natural person. This includes information, such as your IP address, real name, address, telephone number and date of birth. Information that cannot be directly attributed to your identity—e.g., your favorite Internet website or the number of users of a website—is not personal data.

3. Processing of Personal Data

When you visit the website of the Company, we will temporarily process and save various data. This includes the connection data of the requesting computer, the Internet pages you open on our website and the date and the duration of your visit. In addition, we will collect the identifying data of your Internet browser and of your operating system and the website from which you navigated to our website. Personal data, such as your name, address, telephone number or email address will only be collected if it is provided by you voluntarily as part of a registration, survey or other request for information.

4. Designated Use and Transfer of Personal Data

The Company will only use the personal data submitted by you to the extent required for the technical administration of its website, customer management, product-related surveys and marketing and to provide its online offer and services.

5. Legal Basis for Data Processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data depends on the data processing purpose.

  • Technical Administration of the Website
The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the above-stated purposes is Art. 6(1) Letter b of the General Data Protection Regulation, if we concluded a contract with you. If the Company did not conclude a contract with you, the legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1) Letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation. The transmission of personal data (e.g., your IP address) is required for establishing a connection with and displaying the contents of the website.
  • Services
The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the above-stated purposes is Art. 6(1) Letter b of the General Data Protection Regulation. We perform our services as part of the fulfillment of contractual obligations. Without processing personal data, we cannot fulfill or execute the contract with you.
6. Transfer of Data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties, unless doing so is required for contract execution or if you provided your express consent. For example, if you order products, we may forward your address and order data to your wholesale partner. If we commission external service providers, they will be carefully selected and committed to adherence to any applicable data protection regulations in accordance with Art. 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Under no circumstances will we transmit your personal to states outside of the European Union or European Economic Area (EEA).

7. Use of Cookies

Some of our Internet pages use cookies. Cookies are small text files saved onto your computer when you visit our Internet pages. This allows us to provide more individualized content to users of our website. The data used by cookies, e.g., passwords, will be saved on your computer. If you do not wish cookies to be applied, please change the cookie settings of your Internet browser.

8. Data Security

Our employees and the service providers commissioned by us are required to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable data protection laws. The Company takes appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss, changes, destruction and unauthorized access and unauthorized transfers. Our security measures are permanently improved in accordance with technological developments.

9. Data Storage Duration

We will save your data for as long as required for providing our online offer and related services or for as long as we have a legitimate interest in saving your data (e.g., we may still have a legitimate interest in postal marketing after the completion of the contract). Your data will be deleted after the legal or contractual storage periods expire (e.g., storage periods required under tax or commercial law). Data not subject to storage period requirements will be deleted after the stated purposes no longer apply.

10. User Rights

As a user of our website, you are entitled to various rights. To exercise your rights, please use the information provided in the Contact section. When exercising your rights, please ensure that you can be unmistakably identified as a person.

11. Right to Data Information, Correction or Deletion

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you may receive information in writing at any time and free of charge about which personal data is saved on you (e.g., your name or address). In addition, you have the right to have this data corrected or deleted if the according legal requirements are met. However, some data, such as that saved for business processes subject to legal storage requirements, may not be deleted.

12. Right to Limited Data Processing

You have the right to limit the processing of your personal data.

13. Right to Object

In addition, you have the right to object to our processing of your data. We will then suspend the processing of your data, unless we can demonstrate reasons to continue processing your data—in accordance with legal requirements—that outweigh your rights.

14. Right to Data Portability

Furthermore, on request, we will ensure portability of the personal data submitted by you by providing your data in a common and machine-readable data format.

15. Revocation of Consent

You have the right to, at any time and with future effect, revoke any consent you granted for the processing of your personal data for one or several specific purposes. The legitimacy of the processing of your data before the revocation is issued will remain unaffected.
